Cem Karaca was one of the pioneers (if not the pioneer) blending Western rock music with traditional Turkish folk, giving birth to the succesful and acclaimed Anatolian Pop. This record is his debut album, actually comprising songs previously released in 45's, backed by the bands Kardaşlar and Apaşlar between 1969 and 1971. Enjoy Anatolian Pop in its full glory!
All tracks remastered from the master tapes, some tracks were recorded originally Mono. Kara Sevda and Oy Gülüm Oy are different versions from the 45 releases.
